To work as an Air Traffic Controller in Chile, you must meet the requirements listed in the DARK1 licensing form. Information is available at www.dgac.gob.cl

Once the programs are published, applicants will find an application form on this website (www.escuelaaeronautica.gob.cl). They must check if they meet the general requirements and then register using the application form. Before completing it, they must deposit or electronically transfer the sum of $10,000 CLP for registration to the DGAC - ETA Current Account No. 9491422 at Banco Estado, RUT 61.104.000-8. The receipt must be attached to the documents section and also sent to the email address finanzas@meteochile.cl, indicating the applicant's full name, RUT, and program.A. Chilean Nationality.B. Age 17 years (currently in 4th year of high school) to 30 years preferably.C. No prior record.D. High School Diploma (4th year high school students, review Application Guide).E. To have taken the PSU since 2012.F. Pass English exams with a minimum percentage of 50%.G. Pass the psychophysical health exams at the Chilean Air Force Hospital, Aerospace Medicine Center (CMAE).H. Having paid $10,000 for the application fee.
